Fifth Successive Gold for Tunisian Shot-Putter at Paralympics

Tunisian champion Yassine Guenichi wins the men's shot put at the Tokyo Paralympics.

Guenichi has now won five consecutive Paralympic golds in the men's shot put.

Tunisian shot-putter Yassine Guenichi has won his fifth successive Paralympic gold medal in the men's F34 category at the Tokyo Games.

The 40-year-old, who has cerebral palsy, threw a best of 11.29 meters to finish ahead of China's Hao Wang (11.08m) and Ahmad Hindi of Jordan (10.96m).

It was Guenichi's third gold medal of the Tokyo Paralympics, having also won the men's discus and club throw.
